Company history
GS Adams was set up by Grenville Adams in 1987. Grenville
trained as an electrician when he left school, and
set up the business with himself and one apprentice,
Nigel. Since then, the business has gone from strength
to strength. We moved to our current offices in Studley
in 1996 and became limited in 1997.
Nigel is now Operations Director,
and we employ a team of full time qualified electricians
and 3 apprentices. We are pleased to support the next
generation of electricians, who study at college alongside
their work with us.
The way we do business
The way we run our business is very straightforward.
We do a high quality job and provide all our customers
with good service, treating their property with respect.
We are reliable and competitive with our pricing.
It's the way we've managed to grow and develop our
business over the years.
Many of our clients have been with
us since the 1980s and much of our business comes
from recommendation, which we think says a lot.
Professional standards
We are a full member of the National Inspection Council
for Electrical Installation Contractors - NICEIC. It's
the industry standards body and they inspect us very
thoroughly every year, so you can be sure that every
job we do is to the highest standards.
We are also members of RoSPA, the
Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents. All
our employees have taken RoSPA first aid courses,
and we thoroughly risk assess every job. We are very
proud of our long history of safe working.
